NEW CHAPTER: Washingtonville
Washingtonville to be PFP's first high school chapter.
The First Step
WASHINGTONVILLE High School has officially established the very first high school chapter of Posters for Peace.
Forming as a sub-club of the school’s existing BG Designs Club, this new chapter is advised by the ever-supportive and creatively driven Mrs. Ruebenstahl. The club has reportedly attracted over 13 students already.
This chapter will serve as the blueprint for every future high school chapter that joins the initiative. From organizing projects to handling distribution and outreach, Washingtonville students are shaping how Posters for Peace will operate on a larger scale. It's a monumental moment in this non-profit.
Being apart of a design club means that more than just the sub-club members can participate. BG Designs members will also have the opportunity to plan, collaborate, and set goals with and as a part of our team. Members can get involved because they genuinely wanted to make a difference, and that's a great prospect to have.
This chapter is proving that you don’t need to be an adult, an expert, or someone with a big title to spark change. Sometimes all it takes is a group of motivated students, a supportive advisor, and a willingness to act.
Washingtonville High School is setting the tone for what student-led impact can look like.
Thank you for taking the time to read this update. Seeing Washingtonville take the first step is incredibly inspiring, and we can’t wait to see what this chapter accomplishes next.
